Our Journey

Crestwood Senior Center, Mantua, OH

During Fall of 2025, had an amazing day at Crestwood Senior Center! 💜 I had such a great time sharing brain health tips and watching everyone light up during our interactive activities! 🧠✨

One of my favorite parts was when we explored dance mudras— simple hand gestures that help improve coordination, focus, and cognitive function. 💃🖐️ Seeing everyone laugh, move, and challenge their brains in such a joyful way was truly heartwarming!

These moments remind me how powerful movement and connection are for keeping our minds sharp and spirits high. Can’t wait to be back for more brain-boosting fun!

Aurora Senior Center

During end of Summer, 2025, I had an absolute blast presenting at Aurora Senior Center! 🎉🧠 It was so much fun sharing brain health tips and activities, and I’m so happy to see how much the seniors loved it. Their energy, laughter, and curiosity made the whole experience so rewarding. 💜

These moments remind me why I started Cognitive Connections—to spark joy, learning, and confidence at every age while keeping our brains strong and healthy.

During the 2025 spring break, spent two amazing days at the Streetsboro Senior Center! We explored the 5 Pillars of Brain Health, got everyone moving with fun chair exercises, and learned hand gestures inspired by Indian classical dance. On day two, I performed a short piece of an Indian classical dancer to show how movement, rhythm, and expression can support emotional wellbeing and boost brain health. They also had fun Brain Health Passports to encourage more seniors to join in — such a creative and engaging touch! So thankful to kick off the Brain Health Series in Streetsboro. Nearly 90 wonderful participants joined over the two days — so much joy, connection, and brain-boosting fun!
